Nicolás F. Lori, Ph.D., is an interdisciplinary researcher in neuroscience, logic, and physics. He is a Research Assistant Professor at IBILI, Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra, Coimbra Portugal. He did his Ph.D. in Physics at Washington University in St. Louis, and a Postdoc in diffusion MRI at Service Hospitalier Frederic Joliot, Orsay, France and at Washington University, Saint Louis, USA. His current research involves developing MRI information acquisition and processing systems, and determining whether water diffusion anisotropy along a white matter fiber is good measure of the capacity of that fiber to influence the occurrence of BOLD activation in the gray matter regions joined by that fiber.
