David A. Kekich was CEO at Maximum Life Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation dedicated to reversing human aging and aging related diseases.
Dave first became intrigued with the prospect of significant life extension n in 1977 after founding the country’s largest life insurance master general agency, which raised $3.1 billion of premium income for First Executive Corp. This was where he was widely exposed to the actuarial realities of death from aging.
He realized that science will someday control the human aging process, and that aging is the root cause of most deadly diseases. He recognized he was a member of the “last generations” of human beings likely to suffer and die from aging related diseases. His proposed solution was to further aging research, and strive to move it forward by establishing a nonprofit, the Maximum Life Foundation.
His foundation networked many early researchers in life extension, and developed one of the first roadmaps for life extension research and therapies. Dave served as a Board Member of the American Aging Association, Life Extension® Buyers’ Club and Alcor Life Extension Foundation Patient Care Trust Fund.
Dave sadly passed away on Sept 9, 2021. He was cryopreserved at Alcor. His warmth, friendship, and ceaseless activism for longevity research are greatly missed.
